Squeezing a film sound post production facility into NYC quarters is a tall order. Painstaking engineering, acoustical modeling, ergonomic optimization, and digital miniaturization allowed PMI to create two mix rooms, a Foley stage, an ADR room, and three edit bays where most Hollywood studios would have one dubbing stage.
Sound isolation allows simultaneous use, while preserving the peace and privacy of other tenants. A “modern rustic” décor rounds out the space, which has produced such award-winning soundtrack as Born into Brothels.
